Feature Graduate – Scott Darnell

Selected Graduate for November of 2011

Everyone please congratulate Mr. Scott Darnell for becoming National Training, Inc.’s Heavy Equipment Operator School’s Graduate of the Month for November 2011.

Scott initially enrolled at National Training, inc. early in 2011. He graduated May 2011 and obtained his CDL Class A license. He then began Heavy Equipment Operator Courses and graduated in September of 2011. Scott came to us from Greenwood, IN and is married with a four-year-old daughter. He retired from the United States Army after serving 21 years. We here at National Training are very thankful for all of the people who have served our country and we consider it an honor to now serve them in pursuit of a new career!

Scott says he “Enjoys being outdoors and has always been fascinated with heavy equipment and enjoys building things”. He said that he chose National Training because he liked the fact that the course work part of training could be done at the convenience of his home and at his own pace. In turn, he would have maximum time on the equipment when he came to Resident Training.

Scott said of his experience at Resident Training that he “learned a great deal. The Instructors have the experience to guide each individual through each piece of equipment. I enjoyed all the training and learned a great deal. I am confidant on each piece of equipment and by taking the Truck and Heavy Equipment Courses; I am more valuable to Companies”.
