Michael Vorhoest
May 2011 Graduate
Meet National Training, Inc.’s Heavy Equipment Operator School’s Graduate of the Month, Mr. Michael Vorhoest.
Michael came to us from North Port, Florida and before attending National Training to become a professional heavy equipment operator he worked in the restaurant and hotel business as a manager.
Not having an interest in the service industry anymore Michael decided it was a good time for a change of life and since he’s always had an interest in heavy equipment and trucking he figured this was the best direction for him.
Just for everyone’s information Michael not only attended our heavy equipment operator program, he also attended our Professional Class “A” CDL truck driver training program. Michael realized having the skills and training in both fields not only complimented each other but also made him much more valuable employer which in turn made him much more employable.

Michael can do the job of 2 full-time employees since he can load, unload the equipment on and off the truck and then drive the truck anywhere there is a job to do. Any employer is going to see the value and the skill level this kind of employee possesses.
Michael chose to attend National Training, Inc. because we are a nationally accredited school which is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and we train for both truck driver training and heavy equipment operation.
We asked Michael what his experience was like with us and if he had any memorable moments he wouldn’t mind sharing and he had this to say, “I had a great time! Classmates were fun. Instructors were Great and very interesting to talk to. I learned a lot, not only about the lessons, but their personal experiences. I will remember all of the great conversations we had out in the field.”
Michael’s plans are to continue with his career in heavy excavating industry.
At the end of the interview Michael had these parting words for us, “I recommend National to anyone that wants to change their life!”
Michael, we want to thank you for allowing us to become a part of your life and to help you with your career and future success. Please don’t be a stranger and keep in touch.
Thank you,
National Training, Inc.’s Heavy Equipment Operator School
